Feb. 1932
Hakudo Shoten was founded by Hiroji Yamada as private business selling non-ferrous metals in Hachobori, Kyobashi-ku (now Chuo-ku), Tokyo.
Nov. 1949
Hakudo Shoten was re-organized as joint-stock company.
May. 1967
Change of trade name from Hakudo Shoten to Hakudo Co., Ltd.
Feb. 1968
The first-generation computer system was installed.
Oct. 1974
Launch and operation of Kanagawa Process Center in Kanagawa Prefecture.
Jun. 1978
Start of “Next-day delivery” service.
Sep. 1978
Commencement of “Cut-to-order” service.
Jun. 1983
Opening of Osaka office (now West Japan Department) in Osaka Prefecture.
Mar. 1990
Opening and operation of Shiga Process Center was opened and started operation in Shiga Prefecture.
Mar. 2000
Hakudo Co., Ltd. was listed on JASDAQ, becoming public company.
May. 2003
Shanghai Hakudo Precision Materials Co, Ltd. was established a fully owned subsidiary in Shanghai, China.
Oct. 2004
Hakudo Co., Ltd. was listed on the second section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Sep. 2005
Hakudo Co., Ltd. was listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Feb. 2006
Opening and operation of Fukushima Process Center in Fukushima Prefecture.
May. 2008
Opening of the Kyushu Process Center in Saga prefecture.
Oct. 2014
Hakudo (Thailand) Co., Ltd. was established in Bangkok, Thailand.
Jan. 2015
Metal additive manufacturing (Metal 3D Printing) service commenced in Kanagawa Process Center.
Feb. 2017
Opening of the Representative Office of Hakudo Co., Ltd. in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
Nov. 2017
Opening and operation of Saitama Process Center in Saitama Prefecture.
Nov. 2019
Made Takase Aluminum Co., Ltd. a wholly-owned subsidiary.

Hakudo USA Inc. was established in Los Angeles,United States.

Hakudo USA Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary, acquired a stake of West Coast Aluminum & Stainless, LLC and made it a subsidiary.
